Living Well - Getting creative

Online session via Zoom (map)

Wed 7th Oct 2020, 12:00pm to 1:00pm (1 hour)

Join this one hour online conversation looking at the health benefits of painting and being creative.

Arming yourself with the right tools and knowledge to manage your symptoms is key to living well with Parkinson’s.

This October, join us every Wednesday at midday for our one hour Living Well conversation series.

Using the Zoom platform, you will join Fight Parkinson’s health professionals and others living with, or caring for, people with Parkinson’s for a topic presentation, plus plenty of time for questions and answers.

Being creative and doing an enjoyable activity can be a great way to feel good and relax, which in turn reduces anxiety.

When people participate in a creative activity, some physical symptoms, such as fine motor co-ordination, may also improve.

This session will look at how exploring your creative side can be not only enjoyable, but a useful tool in symptom management.

It will include a discussion with past Sir Zelman Cowen Award recipient, Mrs Anne Aitkin OAM who introduced Painting with Parkinson’s into Victoria.

Once you have registered your attendance, you will be emailed a Zoom link which will provide your access to the presentation.

You can let us know if you have any specific questions prior to the webinar, or you can also ask during the presentation.

Any questions? Phone 1800 644 189 or email info@fightparkinsons.org.au

We look forward to you joining us.
