Living Well - Active you
Online session via Zoom (map)
Wed 28th Oct 2020, 12:00pm to 1:00pm (1 hour)
Join this one hour online conversation looking at the health benefits of exercise.
Arming yourself with the right tools and knowledge to manage your symptoms is key to living well with Parkinson’s.
This October, join us every Wednesday at midday for our one hour Living Well conversation series.
Using the Zoom platform, you will join Fight Parkinson’s health professionals and others living with, or caring for, people with Parkinson’s for a topic presentation, plus plenty of time for questions and answers.
For people living with Parkinson’s exercise is increasingly being seen as useful as medication, with research identifying its capacity to slow progression.
Today’s conversation will explore the importance of exercise and the things you should consider when thinking about exercise in order to help you find what’s right for you.
We will be joined by physiotherapist and researcher, Dr Libby Proud, who is a member of the Fight Parkinson’s Physiotherapist Specialist Interest Group.
Once you have registered your attendance, you will be emailed a Zoom link which will provide your access to the presentation.
You can let us know if you have any specific questions prior to the webinar, or you can also ask during the presentation.
Any questions? Phone 1800 644 189 or email info@fightparkinsons.org.au
We look forward to you joining us.
