Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 2019 Mid Year Appeal, helping to raise almost $100,000.
Your support is needed now more than ever as government funding for our Health Information Line is not keeping pace with growing demand.
Fight Parkinson’s’s Health Information team received more than 4600 calls for assistance last year and provided face-to-face education to nearly 6000 people attending community and professional seminars and peer support group meetings.
These numbers are only set to increase, with an aging population and thousands more Victorians diagnosed every year.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Fight Parkinson’s relies heavily on donations from the public to help us deliver these vital services.
We also rely on our community to share their stories and extend our appreciation to Christine Anderson who did that openly and honestly as the face of the appeal.
